From Plumbers to Pig Farmers…
You read that right! We've traded in our pipe wrenches and plungers for pasture and pigs.
Hi there! We're Caty and Terry Jenkins. For nearly 15 years, we've been raising and butchering chickens, pigs, and cows to provide healthy, nutritious meats for our family and friends—all while running a small plumbing business.
Like many of you, our journey started with frustration in the grocery store aisles. We were tired of paying too much for meat that lacked flavor and quality. So, we started small—with a flock of meat birds—and were blown away by the difference in taste. Next came egg layers, and the improvement in egg quality was just as dramatic. We even raised cows for a while, but balancing that with a full-time business proved too much, so we now leave the beef to our neighbor.
Then came pigs—and we were hooked. Not only is the flavor of pasture-raised pork unmatched, but caring for these animals quickly became our passion. In the spring of 2025, we made the leap to pursue that passion full time and become dedicated farmers, committed to offering the same humanely raised, locally sourced food to our community.
